IDA Co-Branded Credit Card

IDA has taken an initiative for its student members by introducing a co-branded credit card in association with the Central Bank of India. The student dentist by enrolling himself in this plan with a nominal processing fee.

The 3, 6, 9 and 12 months EMI options are available with Merchant Service fees (MSF) of 3.3%, 5.5%, 7.75% and 10% respectively for every transaction made.

The EMI set up can be activated with a nominal initial payment of Rs. 250/- only and thus the payment option is easy. Central Bank of India will charge, for all Master and VISA, credit and debit card transaction done on the terminal a nominal Merchant Service fee (MSF) of 1.20% + service tax (as applicable).

IDA Insurance Plan / Dental Shield Insurance

IDA Members Insurance Programmes are available exclusively to IDA members and are designed specifically for dentists. We take of the unique needs of dentist at difference stages of his/her career. Considering the need for a proper insurance coverage needed for the dentist, IDA has inked an exclusive pact with the New India Assurance Company Ltd, to draft out insurance to match the needs of a dental professional and his/her practice.

IDA Retirement Plan

Retirement is the basic truth of professional life of every individual. The only variable factor is the age, at which a dentist would take retirement.

Thus, it is necessary to secure one’s future.The needs of a dentist are generally for setting up a dental practice, housing, children’s education, children’s marriage, etc. But in the struggle to procure these needs, the need to plan for retirement doesn’t magically happen when you turn 65. It takes thoughtful planning and strategy.

Planning for retirement is needed to meet the demands of old age, where apart from meeting the needs of livelihood there is also an added burden on health expenses. Retirement planning should be done early in one’s career. But again retiring is not the end goal for all doctors.
